Andreas Gutzeit, President

An award-winning writer, producer and director, Andreas Gutzeit began his career almost 20 years ago at ABC news, where he worked on Prime Time Live, Nightline, and World News with Peter Jennings. Andreas has recently written and directed, China’s First Emperor, a four-hour marquee special for The History Channel and The Berlin Wall for the Discovery Channel. After co-founding STORY HOUSE Productions with Carsten Oblaender, he produced, directed, and wrote Nine Men Down, a 90 minute special for The History Channel and served as Executive Producer for the Emmy-nominated Story House programs Holy War, Inc. and Countdown to Ground Zero as well as for three of Court TV's most successful true-crime series: Body of Evidence, Psychic Detectives and Missing Persons Unit. Andreas Gutzeit is also the recipient of the 2003 DC Filmmaker Award and he has written and directed many Story House projects, including Robert Ressler: The Man Who Lives with Monsters, which received the Best Documentary award at the DC Independent Film Festival.
