Is it possible to
find scientific proof of reincarnation? Can
the memories of young children reveal any
clues to their past lives? Can they help us
in our quest to answer one of mankind's
oldest questions: Is there another life
after death? While two thirds of the
world's population believes in
reincarnation, modern western science
persists in rejecting the concept out of
hand. However, a handful of respected
scientists have been meticulously
investigating the phenomenon of
reincarnation for decades and with
surprising results.
Past Lives: Stories of
Reincarnation chronicles the
investigations of several scientists as
they search for proof of reincarnation.
These scientists investigate the waking
memories of very small children who
remember intricate details of their
previous lives. Many of these children
remember exact locations, family members
and intimate details of a previous life and
death. Often these details can be verified
and a "previous personality" located. We
will meet these remarkable children and
hear their stories of living a life far
different from the one they now live. Along
the way we will uncover surprising evidence
that points to an answer to man's ultimate
question.
The program received a 2003 Silver Omni
Award and was nominated for "Best Long Form
Documentary" by the 2003 DC Independent
Film Festival.
