„Iron Harvest“ premieres on Nat Geo, September 1st
SHP Berlin | The documentary „Iron Harvest“ will premiere on National Geographic Germany on September 1st at 9 pm.
„Iron Harvest“ chronicles the most dangerous missions of the German Kampfmittelbeseitigungsdienst (the Unexploded Ordnance Removal Service). The Allies dropped over 5 million bombs on Nazi Germany. One out of every ten didn’t explode. The men of bomb disposal teams risk their lives every day to eliminate these dangerous remnants of war. 5,000 undetonated ordnances are found per year and tens of thousands of people are evacuated. In Germany, bomb disposal services clears an average of 100 World War II bombs per week. STORY HOUSE accompanied the teams on their risky missions.
