The U.S. Navy is home to one of the most professional investigative agencies in the world… the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, also known as NCIS. The Real NCIS is a true-crime series set against the backdrop of U.S. Navy ships and Marine bases around the world. The civilian men and women of the NCIS are the real-life detectives charged with investigating incidents which fall within the province of the United States Navy.
